JD Velilla

JD Velilla is the Head of Sleep Experience for Serta Simmons Bedding. JD has spent his career studying every aspect of sleep science and recovery helps reimagine the way we think about self-care and sleep wellness through awareness and education. His focus includes partnerships, sleep science research, team and customer education, and working with product teams on products that enhance sleep activity. In his role, he connects the dots between sleep science, product development and the habit changes required to achieve transformative rest.


Dr. Jehan Sparks

Dr. Jehan Sparks is a Behavior Research Scientist at Calm. She has over ten years of experience leading academic and applied research projects, combining methods from psychology, economics, and public health to understand human bias and decision making. As part of the Calm Science Research Team, Jehan is focused on developing evidence-based sleep resources, informed by rigorous scientific research. Jehan received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology, a minor in Quantitative Psychology, and completed postdoctoral training in Behavioral Decision Making at UCLA Anderson School of Management.


Jennifer Kramer, NBC-HWC

Jennifer Kramer is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) who specializes in evidence-based interventions for sleep disturbance. She has a Master's in Health Coaching from Maryland University. As a Sleep Coach at Calm, Jennifer helps employee populations sleep better and achieve their sleep goals through cognitive behavioral coaching for insomnia.
