Stop the Stigma: A World Mental Health Day Special Event
With more than 1 in 5 U.S. adults living with a mental health condition, nearly half of adults ages 18-24 reporting anxiety and depression in 2023, and suicide being the 2nd leading cause of death among 10-14-year-olds, conversations about mental health are more critical than ever.
What can we do to reduce mental health stigma and encourage prevention in our families and communities?
This World Mental Health Day, join Calm and Kaiser Permanente for an inspiring virtual event featuring Calm’s Chief Purpose Officer Jay Shetty, former MLB athlete and mental health advocate Drew Robinson, and Kaiser Permanente psychiatrist Lateefah Watford, MD. During this session, the panel will share their own personal mental health journeys as well as strategies for supporting your own mental health and the well-being of your loved ones.
